Based at Lye Cross Farm, UK, the Alvis family are proud suppliers of a full range of award-winning British Cheeses to the European Union from their family farm and also from some partner producers. The family’s cheese is made, matured and packed at Lye Cross Farm and is available in various formats, including catering size, retail packs and 20g snacking portions.
Handmaking cheese since 1952, the fourth generation are helping continue the Alvis family’s heritage. Situated just 10km from the village of Cheddar, the authentic production process and locality to the birthplace of the cheese allows Lye Cross Farm Mature Cheddar to proudly display the EU PDO logo as protected West Country Farmhouse Cheddar.
